Skills required
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
Proficiency in Ruby on Rails : At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails.
Strong problem-solving skills : Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
Experience with databases : Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
Knowledge of front-end technologies : Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React or Vue.js is a plus.
Version control systems : Proficiency in using Git for version control and collaboration.
API development : Experience building RESTful APIs using Rails.
Test-driven development (TDD) : Familiarity with testing frameworks like RSpec or Minitest.
Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) : Experience with tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Agile methodology : Comfortable working in an agile environment and participating in daily stand-ups, sprints, and retrospectives.
